Manju lives with her step-mother (Aroona Irani) while Anju lives in her palace. Anju is abused and tortured by her uncle Tribhuvan and aunt Amba, who have an eye on the wealth left in her name by her parents. Both sisters are diametrically opposite in nature and behavior.
