Both of them leave a school-going son named Ramnath to fed for himself but he too is handicapped since he is knocked down and run over by a speeding car, losing the use of his left leg. Ramnath is soon, after his parents death is thrown out by the landlord on the outskirts of Bombay. Ramnath stave for a couple of days since he has no money but he soon befriends a young man of his same age, the young man name is Mohan and he has been blind by birth.
